Find a Clinic For a Light IVF in New York City

Light IVF protocols are a relatively new way of addressing infertility in both males and females.  An enhancement to traditional IVF protocols, Light IVF uses significantly less fertility medication by customizing a protocol that builds upon your body’s natural fertility.   In NYC, the fertility experts at New Hope Fertility are on the cutting edge of fertility care.   New Hope’s light in vitro fertilization protocol, Mini IVF™ is extremely successful and has success rates comparable to that of traditional IVF.

2015-25

New Hope was among the first fertility centers in the United States to offer a minimal stimulation IVF protocol.  Our trademarked protocol, IVF has allowed us to customize treatment for our patients and offer a way of achieving pregnancy more holistically.  During a Mini IVF™ cycle:

  • Your body is closely monitored by blood work and ultrasound throughout the treatment cycle. This way we can monitor your progress and make changes as needed.
  • Depending on your specific medical needs, you will be prescribed low doses of oral fertility medication.  That will be supplemented with up to three doses of injectable fertility medication as merited by your needs.  The goal is to gently stimulate your ovaries to produce between three and five high quality eggs.  Although significantly less in quantity than what is typically seen in traditional IVF cycles, the eggs are of a high quality and are suitable for fertilization.
  • Once the eggs are mature, they are harvested and fertilized in our laboratory.  The embryos are monitored and the healthiest embryo is implanted directly in your uterus.  In the event there are surplus embryos, they may be frozen for use during subsequent cycles.  We recommend our patients transfer a single embryo during an IVF cycle.  Our research has shown transferring multiple embryos does not improve the chance of pregnancy.  However, transferring multiple embryos does increase the likelihood of becoming pregnant with multiples, which poses health risks for both mother and child.

Our minimal stimulation protocols have been successful for many couples.
