How Do I Know Which IVF Treatment is Right for Me?

At New Hope Fertility, we specialize in creating personalized treatment plans for our patients.  We take the time to understand your unique fertility and work with it to achieve healthy pregnancies and healthy babies.

For those who have a fertility care plan that includes IVF, we have three options:

Natural Cycle IVF

During this IVF protocol, we do not use fertility medication.  We monitor your natural cycle and harvest the artificial-inseminationone egg your body produces naturally.  This IVF treatment is specifically tailored towards women who want to avoid fertility drugs and their potential side effects. Natural Cycle IVF is also a good option for those women who are not likely to produce multiple eggs even with the assistance of fertility medication.  Natural Cycle IVF may be less expensive than other IVF treatment protocols due to the absence of fertility medication.

Mini IVF

Using a drastically reduced amount of fertility medication, Mini IVF treatment starts by gently stimulating your body to produce between three and five eggs that are of a high quality.  This is the perfect number of eggs to do IVF. Mini IVF can help avoid risks associated with traditional IVF including ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome (OHSS). Mini IVF is a good option for women who are primarily concerned the quality as opposed to the quantity of eggs

Traditional IVF

Traditional IVF treatment uses injectable fertility medication to promote the growth of a high number of eggs.  Often, this treatment can result in a large number of eggs being produced.  There is a risk of a ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome.   Additionally, although a large number of eggs are harvested, they will not all be viable and ready for fertilization.  Traditional IVF is a good fit for women who value quantity.
