How Successful Are Fertility Centers

The success rates of fertility centers are tracked by a number of agencies including the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, or the CDC.  When evaluating the success rates of fertility centers there are a few things to keep in mind:

2015-33Similar Situations

When looking at success rates, pay special attention to the center’s success rates for women who have similar medical issues to your own.  It is common for success rates to be given by age range.  Look at the success rates for your age range.  A center may have high success rates overall, but may not be as successful with women over a certain age.

New Hope Fertility Center has high success rates including for women over age 35. Additionally, we offer more holistic treatment options that may better address the needs of older women who may not respond to fertility medication.  Our holistic offerings for IVF treatment include:

  • Mini IVF – Using a significantly reduced amount of fertility medication, your ovaries are gently stimulated to produce three to five eggs that are suitable for fertilization.
  • Natural IVF – Does not use any fertility medication, instead the protocol retrieves and fertilizes the egg your body produces naturally.

Patient Acceptance

Many centers automatically turn away women who are over a certain age or who have high FSH levels.  By not accepting women with more difficult situations, these centers artificially raise their success rates.  Make sure you understand a fertility center’s requirements for patient acceptance.

New Hope believes that every woman should have the chance to have world class fertility treatment.  Therefore, we do not turn away patients due to their age, FSH level, or the amount of eggs they are able to produce.
