Minimal Stimulation IVF Doctors and Success Rates

One of the first steps in your fertility care plan is understanding the types of treatments that are available to address your fertility concerns.  Minimal stimulation IVF, also known as Mini-IVF™, is an in vitro fertilization protocol that uses low doses of fertility medication to successfully achieve pregnancy.  By using your body’s natural fertility as a foundation, we are able to gently stimulate your body to produce three to five high quality embryos.  The focus with Mini-IVF™F is the production of high quality eggs that are suitable for fertilization.

Mini-IVF™ is not a one size fits all approach to fertility care. The dosage of fertility medication you receive is specially designed based on your body’s unique needs.  Designing treatment plans to meet the specific needs of each of our patients is what allows us to have high success rates.

The use of minimal stimulation IVF is unique in the fertility care industry.  The expert doctors at New Hope Fertility Center trademarked the Mini-IVF™ protocol and continually research to ensure we are providing the best possible care to our patients.  Our physicians stay abreast of the latest discoveries in fertility care by partnering with experts worldwide.  Furthermore, we facilitate clinical trials to better understand the best way to provide fertility care.

Although significantly less fertility medication is used during Mini IVF, we are able to achieve success rates that are comparable to that of traditional IVF treatment.  Success rates are calculated by each individual cycle and are one of the best ways to evaluate the performance of a fertility center.  Our results are as follows:

For women who are less than 35 years old that use their own eggs:

  • 37 percent of cycles that used fresh embryos resulted in live births
  • 44 percent of cycles that used thawed embryos resulted in live births

Success rates are even better when donor eggs are used.  For all women:

  • 62.5 percent of cycles that used fresh embryos resulted in live births
  • 64.4 percent of cycles that used thawed embryos resulted in live births
